Water Resistance
Our watches are water resistant up to 5 bar/50 meters, and are extremely well-suited for every-day use. Don’t be afraid of washing your hands.
Strap Modifying
Pull the small button away from joint of the watchstrap with your thumbnail and gently tilt the watch strap to the side.
To insert the strap, first insert the tip of the strap’s pin into the hole in the strap joint opposite the button. Then move the button back toward the centre of the strap while moving the strap into the desired position until the pin falls into place.
Please make sure that both ends of the pin are in place!
Before You Wear Your Watch for the First Time
Before you wear your watch for the first time, you need to make sure it’s fully wound. To do so, turn the crown clockwise 20 to 30 times and then set the time.
If the hands are set before winding, the mechanism can move freely backwards and forwards.
This can result in the oil necessary for perfect function being stripped from the escapement.
This is why the time should only be set after the watch has been wound.
When the watch is fully wound, it retains a power reserve of 38 hours. If your watch is not worn for more than 38 hours and stops, then it must be manually wound to restore the power necessary to function. To manually wind the watch, turn the crown 20 to 30 times in a clockwise direction. This is sufficient to set the watch running again, wearing the watch normally will then do the rest…
However, please note that the watch requires a minimum amount of activity in the day to retain power. If it’s not possible to wear your automatic watch while moving around, it must be wound manually 20-30 times per day, just like a regular wind-up watch.
The wearing habits of the owner play a not unimportant role for keeping timekeeping precision within the tolerance range. The watch responds to the movements of a more active or less active owner. A divergence from the range indicated is not a reflection of the watch’s function but, in the first instance, of the way it’s being worn or left at rest.
